Last weekend we served lunch just outside of town at Millican Reserve.
They are in the beginning stages of developing land between Highway 6 and Wellborn Road; the community will be centered around outdoor activities such as biking, horseback riding, and frisbee golf. They even have a farm going, from which we used vegetables for the event.
Their heirloom tomatoes.
Italian stecca bread for the venison that was also from their property, served with delicious black mustard made by a friend of a friend at The Pig Cave.
The set up. The structure is the begging of what will be a farmer’s market.
Happy, grill times.
And the lunch.
Thank you to those who helped with the event, and to Millican Reserve for having us out!Tweet
